Oracle NLS_LANG 的設定說明

在連線到 Oracle Database 的 Regedit 設定中, 一般人大多會遇到設定 NLS_LANG,

來做語系與字元集的設定, 現在大致介紹一下它的組成 :

 語法

NLS_LANG=<Language>_<Territory>.<clients characterset>
 
LANGUAGE 表示:
   - language used for Oracle messages,
   - day names and month names
 
TERRITORY 表示:
   - monetary and numeric formats,
   - territory and conventions for calculating week and day numbers
 
CHARACTERSET 表示:
   - controls the character set used by the client application
      * or it matches your Windows code page
      * or it set to UTF8 for an unicode application
